Project Overview

1142 Bienveneda Avenue is a ground-up contemporary residence completed in 2021, set against a steep Pacific Palisades hillside on a 0.58-acre parcel. From the street the home reads as crisp, warm modernism — smooth white stucco massing, a floating ipe-wood entry canopy and slatted screen, frameless glass balcony rails, and a wall of back-lit glass garage doors. At dusk the elevation glows from within, the cantilevered upper volume reading sculpturally against the canyon behind it.

Inside, the plan is organized for indoor-outdoor living at scale. Wide-plank European white oak floors run throughout, and a floating white-oak-and-blackened-steel staircase with a full glass guard anchors the circulation. The great room opens through pocketing walls of black-framed glass to a courtyard and pool, centered on a dramatic floor-to-ceiling Pietra Grey marble fireplace. The chef's kitchen pairs walnut and matte-white flat-panel cabinetry with a book-matched marble waterfall island, professional Miele appliances, and a glass-front wine tower — flowing directly to the dining area and rear terrace.

The bedroom level is served by a light-lined gallery and view balconies that frame the canyon and the road below. The primary suite bath is finished in full marble with a walnut floating dual vanity, backlit mirror, freestanding soaking tub, and a frameless glass walk-in shower; secondary baths carry their own material identities in grey porcelain and Carrara. Outside, a glass-railed pool and raised spa sit on a poured-stone terrace with a stacked-stone feature wall and built-in outdoor kitchen. CRDP delivered this residence ground-up through construction and finish. Built in 2021, the home sold for $4,850,000.
