Project Overview

3802 Hollyline Avenue is a ground-up modern estate of roughly 11,000 square feet, built into a hillside above Sherman Oaks. The architecture is a composition of crisp white stucco volumes, ipe-wood soffits, and a near-continuous skin of black-framed glass — a double-height glazed stair tower anchoring the street elevation and frameless glass guardrails wrapping the cantilevered upper floors. A wall of back-lit glass garage doors and a grass-jointed motor court complete the approach.

Inside, wide-plank European white oak floors run throughout, and the principal level opens into a continuous living, dining, and family sequence organized around walls of pocketing glass. A dramatic floating staircase of white-oak treads on a blackened-steel stringer rises within the glazed tower; a gallery hall lined with graphic artwork connects the public rooms. Living spaces are defined by full-height Pietra Grey marble fireplaces, oak-slat feature walls, integrated wet bar, and flanking white-oak built-ins, while a planted interior courtyard with a living green wall and water feature draws daylight into the heart of the plan.

The primary suite is a private floor of its own: a view bedroom opening to a glass-railed balcony over the canyon, a sitting area against an oak-slat wall, a marble spa bath with a walnut floating dual vanity, freestanding tub, and a frameless glass walk-in shower, and a glass-front walnut dressing room with a center island. Seven bathrooms in total carry a consistent palette of Carrara and Calacatta marble, white oak, and polished nickel. The grounds include a pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, and multiple terraces. CRDP delivered this residence ground-up from construction through finish.
